Important Information regarding a change to the Car/Tractor & Work Vehicles Driver Theory Test—10th October 2016..
The Road Safety Authority recently published a report detailing the latest vehicle collision figures and how alcohol was involved in 33% of the cases.
In a bid to reinforce the drink driving message, the Driver Theory Test is changing from 10th October 2016.
The changes will apply to the Motorcycle Theory Test (AM) and to the Car and Works Vehicle Theory Test (BW), to include a new module titled “Alcohol & Driving”.
Candidates will be presented with 2 questions from this new module, as part of their Car/Tractor and Work Vehicles Learner Driver Theory Test, on and after 10th October 2016.
The Car/Tractor & Work Vehicles Learner Driver Theory Test will continue to present candidates with 40 questions per exam and the pass mark remains the same at 35 correctly answered questions.
Candidates must familiarise themselves with these new questions as they will take effect as of 10th October 2016.
